I picked this skillet up as a gift for my fiance and we both just love it! The weekend I gave it to him we were off camping and took it with us… we cooked everything that weekend in it. We use this skillet now more than any other pan in the house.

If you are looking for a pan that is truly non-stick, this is it, without all the toxic coatings of teflon etc…this is what our ancestors used. It also is great if you have anemia, cooking in these iron pans aid in building the blood as well. My daughter, whom I bought it for school, has grown up with only cast iron pans, only made in the U.S.A. and she loves this one. A must for cooks of all sorts. Just keep it oiled and rust free by washing without soap, just water, heat up on the stove to dry and touch up with a paper towel and oil now and then. The best!!

I have owned this 12 in skillet for a little more than two years now. It is second to none in my kitchen; by far it has made my cooking that much better! The care and maintenance is simple enough, that I bought this pan its own little soft scrub brush with a built in soft plastic scraper. Makes clean up easy! This pan is going to live forever! The only drawback is finding an accompanying lid. There were no lids available for purchase, perhaps because the demand may not be high enough in my area, or (?). It’s strange to me that the lid (found online) costs more than what I paid for the pan itself. :^/
